As a Partner with Promus Financial Group, Ryan works with successful families, business owners, and individuals who have built significant wealth and face increasingly complex financial, tax strategies, and estate planning decisions. His focus is helping clients move beyond simply accumulating wealth to developing a thoughtful strategy for protecting it, using it, and ultimately transferring it to the next generation.
Ryan believes sophisticated wealth planning requires more than managing an investment portfolio. He brings together investments, taxes, insurance, retirement assets, business interests, estate planning, and charitable giving to help clients see the bigger picture and make decisions that work together rather than in isolation.
A particular focus of Ryan’s practice is helping affluent families navigate wealth transfer and estate planning. He works alongside clients’ CPAs, attorneys, and other professional advisors to identify opportunities, address potential tax and estate issues, and ensure the financial strategy supports the family’s broader goals. For business owners, this often includes planning around succession, liquidity events, business value, and the transition of wealth from the business to the next generation.
Ryan and his wife are raising four children who are progressing through the college and high school years. Experiencing firsthand the opportunities and challenges that come with children growing into adulthood gives Ryan a personal appreciation for the importance of thoughtful family and legacy planning. He believes the most meaningful financial plans are ultimately about people—not portfolios.
Ryan is licensed in multiple states and serves families and business owners across the country. He is committed to building long-term relationships with clients who want a deeper, more coordinated approach to managing, protecting, and transferring their wealth.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys CrossFit, cooking with his wife, and spending time with his family.

Curtis believes financial strategies should help people make the most of the opportunities they’ve worked hard to create. He works with successful professionals and business owners who are building careers, growing businesses, and thinking intentionally about what comes next.
Curtis helps clients bring together the many pieces of their financial lives—including compensation, retirement benefits, investments, insurance, taxes, and family responsibilities. His goal is to help clients see how those pieces work together, understand their choices, and make decisions with greater clarity and confidence.
For Curtis, the importance of thoughtful financial guidance is personal. As a first-generation American who grew up in East Texas, he watched his parents build and operate their own small business. Their example shaped his appreciation for entrepreneurship, hard work, and the sacrifices families make to create opportunities for the next generation. It also gave him a deep respect for the responsibility that comes with building something of your own.
Curtis holds the Financial Services Certified Professional® (FSCP®) designation, maintains the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), and holds FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 securities registrations. He is active in the Dallas–Fort Worth business and nonprofit communities and serves as a leader in one of the area’s largest BNI networking chapters.
Outside of work, Curtis enjoys pickleball, photography, and volunteering with nonprofits focused on early education and the arts.
Chani believes financial confidence starts with understanding. She helps individuals, families, and business owners make sense of their financial lives, see their options clearly, and make thoughtful decisions about what comes next.
Chani has a particular passion for working with women and the people who count on them. She understands that financial decisions rarely happen in isolation. They are connected to careers and businesses, raising families, caring for aging parents, preparing for retirement, and navigating the unexpected turns life can bring. Her goal is to make those conversations approachable, understandable, and free from unnecessary jargon or judgment.
Her work focuses on helping clients build strong financial foundations, protect what matters most, and prepare for the future. This may include retirement planning, wealth accumulation, life insurance, disability income and long-term care, as well as protection and benefit strategies for business owners.
For Chani, preparedness is personal. Her own experience as a wife, mother, and caregiver has shaped the way she thinks about financial security and the importance of having choices when life changes the plan. She believes you don't have to have everything figured out before starting the conversation—that's kind of the point.
Jordan Sanders has built her career in financial services around one thing: helping advisors and clients stay organized, supported, and moving forward.

After relocating to Dallas with her family in 2017, Jordan continued with New York Life before joining Ryan Utecht as a Licensed Service Assistant in 2019. She became part of Promus Financial Group in late 2020.

Outside of work, Jordan enjoys experimenting with sourdough recipes, relaxing on the porch with a good cup of coffee and her family, and engaging in thoughtful theological conversations with friends.
